AIDS Walk 2026

On Saturday, September 19, AIDS Walk Delaware celebrates 40 years as one of the nation’s longest-running HIV walks. The event is co-hosted by AIDS Delaware and the Delaware HIV Consortium, an brings communities together in Wilmington’s Brandywine Park and downtown Rehoboth Beach to honor lives affected by HIV, raise awareness, and support essential HIV services across Delaware. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the walk starts at 10 a.m.

AIDS Walk Delaware provides critical financial support across the state for vital services for Delawareans living with or impacted by HIV, including free HIV testing, medical case management, housing, mental health counseling, discount pharmacy, and food assistance, as well as education and prevention programs. This year, the event aims to raise $100,000 while bringing together more than 600 participants and volunteers to increase awareness of HIV and PrEP, strengthen prevention efforts, and foster community support and solidarity in the fight against HIV.

In Rehoboth, check-in begins on September 19 at 8:30 AM at the bandstand at Rehoboth Ave and the Boardwalk and the Walk begins at 10 AM. For more information you can go to https://www.delawarehiv.org/events.
