Art On My Palate Wine Tasting

Join wine expert Michael Horak for a memorable afternoon of tasting, storytelling, and discovery inspired by the Delaware Art Museum’s renowned permanent collection. Inspired by images of artworks that celebrate beauty, craftsmanship, and creative expression, guests will enjoy a curated selection of six wines thoughtfully chosen to complement artworks selected.

Drawing connections between art, culture, history, and the traditions of winemaking, Michael will guide participants through the character, flavors, and origins of each wine while sharing insights into the people, places, and influences that shaped these selections. Whether you are an experienced wine enthusiast or simply enjoy discovering new favorites, this intimate gathering offers a unique opportunity to experience the Museum’s collection through a different lens. Artwork reproductions will be shared with participants to demonstrate the connection between the selected wines and the works of art.

Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully curated tasting, light bites, engaging conversation, and practical tips for selecting, serving, and enjoying wine for entertaining and special occasions.

This event is hosted by Barbara Goetz on behalf of the Delaware Art Museum. Space is limited to 30 guests, and advance registration is required. All registrants must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
