Music School of Delaware Performance Collab Series featuring Pyxis Piano Quartet
Join us for the first evening of a new four-part concert series bringing DelArt and The Music School of Delaware together! together! Featuring a variety of musical styles and talented Music School artists and ensembles, the series offers a chance to experience great live music in a welcoming Museum setting. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Formed in 2021 by members of the Pyxis Piano Quartet, the PYXIS PIANO TRIO–Luigi Mazzocchi, violin; Jennifer Jie Jin, cello; and Hiroko Yamazaki, piano–continues a rich chamber music tradition, performing works from the sonata, duo, and trio repertoire. The Quartet, founded in 2009, has established itself as a vibrant presence in the Mid-Atlantic region, recognized for compelling, thoughtful, and engaging performances. Wellness Yoga
Activate your internal energy and strengthen your body and spirit as you practice slow, easy motions to get into the rhythm of nature. Led by Beth Sheehy. Bring a yoga mat, small towel, and a water bottle. Wear layers appropriate to the season.
Drop-in classes; held in the garden, weather permitting. In inclement weather, location will move indoors. Locations will be posted by the main gate and outside Brown Horticulture Center. Story Time in Enchanted Woods
Share the joy of reading while cultivating children’s interest in and appreciation for nature. Kids ages 3–6 sit among the Story Stones to hear nature-based stories. Plus, enjoy a special activity on the first Thursday of every month. Included with admission. Free for children under 2. Members free. Story Time starts promptly at scheduled time and takes place weekly, April–October.

Conservation Clinic
Bring in cherished objects and learn how to preserve them for future generations. From family quilts and photo albums to ceramics, portraits, furniture, and everything in between, conservation staff and students will hear the stories of your objects and share condition assessments, treatment recommendations, and display and storage advice.
Your advance registration allows us to match you with someone who specializes in conservation of your object, whether it is a painting, textile, works of art on paper, book, archival document, photograph, furniture, or three-dimensional object (glass, ceramics, metals, organics).
Free. By appointment only. Call 800.448.3883, x7029 to make an appointment. Limit three objects of the same media per 30-minute appointment. No monetary appraisals given.

Known for his celebrated one-man show Sam Kissajukian: 300 Paintings, Kissajukian brings his distinctive perspective directly to our collection, reimagining classic works with bold, unexpected commentary.
This interactive afternoon presentation offers a rare glimpse into Kissajukian’s artistic process, blending sharp humor and creative experimentation with a deeply personal narrative on how we engage with visual art.
After exploring the Museum galleries, catch the complete performance of 300 Paintings at the nearby Delaware Theatre Company, running through November 8. Together, these events create an extraordinary fusion of live performance, visual art, and gallery discovery.

Eco Explorers: Wonderful World of Water
Children and their adults will enjoy hands-on activities and walks with a Delaware Master Naturalist. Learn about the natural lands at Winterthur, the plants and animals living here, and how naturalists and citizen scientists work to care for them. Children will receive a special pin for each Eco Explorer program they attend. Registration required; capacity limited. $30 per adult/child pair. $5 per additional child. $25 per additional adult (one adult chaperone required per family group). $10 per adult/child pair for Members. Put on your spookiest, silliest, and most creative costume and join us for a festive Halloween Parade at the Delaware Art Museum! Enjoy a family-friendly celebration filled with costumes, creativity, candy, and Halloween fun as we parade through the Museum grounds. Come dressed to impress and ready to show off your spooky season spirit! A DJ dance party will follow to cap off the event. All are welcome.
