(It’s True) Sad Songs Make You Cry
Sad songs can be a cathartic and emotional experience for listeners, and many great sad songs have been written over the years. The odd thing about sad songs is that they can also be happy songs. That song, which meant everything to the old girlfriend, can still make you cry with the opening notes today.
Sometimes, that sad song can indicate an upcoming hope or a desire to climb out of a sad situation. I’ve always believed that we wouldn’t appreciate the good stuff without the sad stuff.
Everything ever created by man has been made so by some driven need he didn’t have.
Or to impress a girl.
